What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) offers a communal living opportunity for individuals with disabilities who have SIL funding included in their NDIS plan. This kind of support frequently involves continuous care, with established objectives aimed at fostering independence for each participant. It all takes place in a secure environment that nurtures personal growth.
The provided support and care encompass the presence of a support worker who aids in personal care tasks like bathing, meal preparation, medication assistance, and participation in community outings. Every participant enjoys the flexibility to spend time alone at home or engage with fellow residents, fostering social interactions within the household.
Who is SIL for?
SIL caters to high-needs NDIS participants who require round-the-clock care. Support workers, often on rotating shifts, provide direct 1:1 assistance, aiding with in-home tasks and facilitating community engagement.
Our Central Coast SIL residence accommodates up to 3 participants, offering shared spaces, yet ensuring privacy with 2 lounges and 2 bathrooms. This setup fosters independent living, social connections, and personalized support as needed.

At our shared supported accommodation, we prioritize your comfort by accommodating up to three households in a single home. We take great care to ensure that the individuals we place in each household are a compatible and harmonious fit.
