Welcoming Josh Menzies – Our New Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator!

We’re excited to welcome Josh Menzies to the Tribe Disability Support family as our new Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator! Josh brings a wealth of experience and a passionate energy that aligns perfectly with our mission to create engaging, inclusive, and fun-filled experiences for everyone in our community.

In his new role, Josh will be overseeing a wide range of exciting programs, including school holiday activities, afternoon programs for school-aged children, and our adult social programs based in Terrigal. But that’s not all, he’ll also be leading the charge on staff social events, helping our team stay connected, supported, and celebrated.

Josh comes to us with an impressive background in childcare and programming. With over five years of experience in childcare management, he’s well-versed in planning and delivering meaningful activities that are both enjoyable and developmentally appropriate. His Certificate III in Early Childhood Education reinforces his strong foundation in understanding the needs of children and families, making him an ideal fit for this dynamic and hands-on role.

One of Josh’s standout skills is his experience in detailed programming. He has a keen eye for designing well-rounded schedules that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities, ensuring everyone feels included and engaged. Whether it's a creative workshop, a day trip, or an after-school activity, Josh ensures every event is thoughtfully planned with participants’ enjoyment and safety in mind.

Speaking of safety, Josh also brings a solid understanding of SafeGuarding procedures, and he holds current First Aid and CPR certifications, giving families and team members peace of mind knowing they are in capable hands.
