Cool Fun on the Ice – Easter Adventures with Tribe's Disability Support Worker Central Coast Team
Easter Holidays at the Erina Ice Arena
During the Easter holidays, we had an amazing time taking our Tribe out for a memorable day at the Ice Arena in Erina. It was a perfect opportunity for our school-aged Tribe members to unwind, have fun, and spend quality time with their peers during the break from school routines. The energy was high, the smiles were endless, and the laughter echoed across the rink!
Our day on the ice was more than just a fun outing—it was about connection, inclusion, and creating meaningful experiences. As a dedicated disability support worker Central Coast team, we’re passionate about helping young people with disabilities experience the same fun and freedom as their peers. Whether it was their first time on the ice or they were seasoned skaters, everyone gave it a go and embraced the challenge with courage and excitement.
The Erina Ice Arena provided a safe and welcoming environment for all our Tribe members. With the support of our experienced team, each child was encouraged to try something new, interact with others, and develop confidence in a fun and engaging setting. For us as disability support worker Central Coast professionals, moments like these truly highlight the importance of community-based outings.
We made sure to celebrate every win on the ice, whether it was standing up on skates for the first time, taking a few steps solo, or lending a helping hand to a friend. These moments of growth and teamwork are what make our job so special. As disability support worker Central Coast providers, we understand how valuable these opportunities are in developing social skills, building friendships, and boosting self-esteem in a real-world setting.
After a fun-filled session on the ice, we gathered for a warm lunch and some much-needed rest. The kids chatted about their favourite moments, shared laughs, and already started planning the next adventure. It's days like this that strengthen our sense of community and remind us why we do what we do.
We’re incredibly proud of how our Tribe came together to support one another and create lasting memories. As a disability support worker Central Coast organisation, we’re committed to creating inclusive, joyful, and empowering experiences for all of our members—and this trip to the Erina Ice Arena ticked all the boxes.
We’re already looking forward to our next school holiday outing. Until then, we’ll keep supporting, celebrating, and skating through life together!
